Congratulations Lambeth!

We were thrilled to hear today that Lambeth LEAP has been chosen by Big Lottery to receive £36m over the next 10 years to transform early years, particularly focusing on the value that can be brought by trained and supported community champions. Led by National Children’s Bureau, the programme involves an exciting integration between all those working with families (council staff, health practitioners and the voluntary and community sector), and will improve breastfeeding rates, reduce childhood and maternal obesity, reduce domestic violence, and improve social, emotional, communication and language development.
